Anthony "Methodz" Zinni of the Boston Breach announced his retirement from Call of Duty competition.
The 25-year-old delivered the news before a hometown crowd at the CDL Major II in Boston.
"After 10 years of competing, I'm retiring from professional Call of Duty," he posted Sunday on Twitter. "Thank you for changing my life."
Methodz, who said he plans to move into full-time content creation, previously played for the Toronto Ultra in the Call of Duty League.
He retires with three major tournament wins and more than $234,000 in career earnings, per Dotesports.com.
The Breach were eliminated from the CDL Major II on Saturday, finishing in fifth-sixth place.
