The New York Yankees placed outfielder Trey Amburgey on the 10-day injured list and recalled outfielder Estevan Florial from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.
Amburgey, 26, has a right hamstring strain and his designation is retroactive to Monday.
He made his MLB debut against Boston on Friday and left Sunday's game against the Red Sox in the bottom of the fourth inning after grounding into a double play and appearing to injure his leg.
Amburgey is 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in two games.
Florial, 23, played in one game for the Yankees in 2020, going 1-for-3 with two strikeouts. He has played in just one game for New York this season, going 1-for-3 with a double against the Toronto Blue Jays on May 27.
Florial is batting .214 with 12 homers and 31 RBIs in 52 games this year between Triple-A Scranton and Double-A Somerset.
