The Columbus Blue Jackets put Riley Nash on injured reserve Tuesday with a knee injury and the center will be out four to six weeks.
The move is retroactive to April 4. The Jackets recalled forwards Zac Dalpe and Liam Foudy from the team's taxi squad.
Nash, 31, suffered the knee sprain Sunday during the Jackets' 3-0 loss to the Florida Panthers when he collided with Florida's Noel Acciari in the second period.
Nash was on the trading block ahead of next week's deadline, The Athletic reported Tuesday.
Nash has seven points (two goals, five assists) in 37 games this season for Columbus. He has 172 points (63 goals, 109 assists) in 10 seasons with Carolina (2011-16), Boston (2016-18) and Columbus.
Nash was selected 21st overall in the 2007 draft by Edmonton.
